Living the life...telling the story....visit us at

Dear friends,

We enter another week of measures from the government trying to prevent the spread of the virus, so all we can do currently is to use our common sense, get exercise, as we can so easily in our villages, and keep on praying for the diminution of illness across the world.

David and I are considering a Lent course on line to help us expand our knowledge of the Bible narrative. The Bible Society has produced a brilliant and extremely engaging course on the Bible and it’s background, so we are hoping to use their material for several weeks on Wednesdays starting mid-February; David began the course for Lent in the southern part of the benefice last year but had to stop with the first lockdown, so we will have a second go at it for everyone – you will find it really interesting, and it will enhance our grasp of why we believe the facts we know about God’s revelation to us, and will inform our ethical approach to human behaviour, the value of life, the importance of marriage, the care of the vulnerable, the importance of family life and community cohesion.

Services for tomorrow are now either recorded or being recorded as you read this. The link for tomorrow’s service from Stephen is here:

David’s service will be on the website later.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you all,

Prayers for you all,

Every blessing

David and Stephen
