Dear Friends,

Snow is forecast for this weekend, but with the profusion of snowdrops we may not notice much change!

Quite a number of you have had, or will soon have, your vaccinations against the Covid 19 virus: we pray on for the success of the vaccine, and for the government in the most difficult decision making time for many decades – God acts when we pray. If we don’t pray we won’t see the answers to prayer. So may I encourage you all to spend extra time seeking the Lord in prayer bringing our petitions, requests and thanksgivings to Him – thanking Him helps us get into perspective all He is doing, rather than focusing on the latest problems in the world.

Our online services can be found on the benefice website, and the link for Stephen’s offering is:-

David’s will be on the benefice website shortly.

We start a Lent course using a superb Bible Society produced course on Wednesday 17 February, 7.30 p.m. onwards, and it will be on Zoom but with plenty of opportunity to discuss the material. We will send out a Zoom link next week in this letter, but it would also be helpful to know how many to expect online – so please let David or Stephen know next week if you are “attending.”

Stephen starts another exploring faith course on Tuesday 16th from 7.30 to 9.00 p.m., and has had several enquirers already booking in. There’s always room for more – do ask and he will send you the link.

Please do pray for the success of the engaged couples’ evening tonight (Saturday) on Zoom – 2021 has 21 weddings currently lined up so lots to do.

Don’t forget the children’s Bible stories – they are on the benefice website under the “Children“ tab, with colouring sheets/puzzle sheets to go with them.

We are available as always for you by phone, email, zoom or a conversation in your garden.

Prayers for you all,

Every blessing,

David and Stephen
