Church Information - 13th March 2021

Dear friends,

The spring storms have been with us this week but respite is here and especially we pray for good weather tomorrow, Sunday 14^th March, being Mothering Sunday, with open air services at each end of the benefice.

In Farleigh Parish, services are at Ellisfield at 9.45 a.m. – Mothering Sunday service with communion inside, and at 11.15, an Open Air Mothering Sunday service at Dummer. This will be a short service, and we are trusting the Lord for no wind or rain – come warmly dressed, and as we are outside, socially distanced we can sing. Flowers will be distributed at both services.

In the Candover Valley, there is an Open Air Mothering Sunday service at 10.00 at St. Mary’s Preston Candover, and at 6.00 p.m. Wield Evensong so we are beginning to get back into our gathering together.

For all indoor services  remember to wash hands before coming, to spatially distance, use hand sanitizer on entry, and wear masks if inside (not needed outside as long as we stand far enough away from others).

21st March Candover Valley 

Wield 9.00 a.m. Holy Communion BCP 

11.00 a.m. Preston Candover Holy Communion.

The Lent course continues on Wednesday evenings 7.15 for 7.30 helping us grasp the wide narative of scripture, how it fits together and how it impacts our lives – there’s still time to join in.
